PERSEPHONE

Persephone is the goddess of spring and nature, as well as the Queen of the Underworld in the Greek pantheon.  Prayers to her invoke the blessings of spring with the returning sun, and the duality of nature, with her gentle hand but sense of justice. This fragrance captures that lovely duality by combining the lively scent of wet lichen with the winter touch of a dry forest. The black currant scent weaves with the iconic scent of pomegranates, a symbol of her connection to her husband, Hades. It is all wrapped together by the aroma of rose thorns, emphasizing the duality of the living and the dead.
