Hades is the god of wealth, the dead, and the underworld in the Greek pantheon. Prayers to him have been associated with the passage of the dead, funeral rites, and the discovery of wealth deep in the dark earth. Black rose and oud richly sit at the heart of this fragrance, a darkly seductive aroma accented by the smoke and grave dirt associated with the underworld. Hinted at the end is the subtle sweetness of pomegranate, symbolizing his connection to his wife, Persephone, who returned to Hades in the winter months from their springtime separation.
This fragrance works well on its own or paired with our Persephone fragrance.
