Raised by the church and faith of the Saints, Tamar is as fierce as she is fearless. The salt of the sea air opens up with reckless abandon to speak of her time amongst Sturmhond and his crew and the exhilarating freedom of the open water. The fresh sweet rays of a burst of sunshine intrinsically tie to her beloved twin brother Tolya and their sworn duty as a Soldat Sol. Each equally deadly with weaponry as they are Heartrenders. It is the echo of iris as a nod to her sapphic heart and feminine grace that lights across next. But it is cut sharp as her sly Heartrender’s grin and her dual axes; with almond oil used to polish them to perfection.
Inspired by the character Tamar Kir-Bataar from Leigh Bardugo's Grishaverse series. She is played by Anna Leong Brophy in the Netflix series, Shadow & Bone.
