Every beginning leads to an ending. Every ending must lead to a new beginning. Jörmungandr is the mighty serpent in Norse belief that signals one of those ends. The Midgard Serpent is the snake that wraps itself around the world, biting its own tail, creating endless ouroboros with its body. It is said that, should he release his tail, the great waves and earthquakes he creates will free his brother, Fenrir, and his father, Loki, from their prisons, and thus begin Ragnarok, the end of the world.
The deep aroma of patchouli fills this profile, backed by the scent of the ocean, in which Jörmungandr dwells. A mixture of citrus scents warn of the serpent's venomous bite, soothed by amber and honey.
